Welcome to Fapte Bune — a mutual aid platform in the Republic of Moldova. By using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. The platform does not facilitate monetary transfers — only real actions and help.
Fapte Bune ("the Platform") is an online service that connects people who need help with volunteers and organizations willing to provide non-monetary assistance. The Platform is operated in the Republic of Moldova and is intended for use by residents of Moldova. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Platform, including the website, mobile interfaces, and all related services.
To use the Platform, you must be at least 16 years of age. By registering an account, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Persons under 16 may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
To submit help requests or volunteer for requests, you must create an account. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Providing accurate and up-to-date contact information The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
When submitting a help request, you agree to: • Provide truthful and accurate information about your situation • Not request monetary assistance or donations • Not post content that is illegal, offensive, or misleading • Respond to volunteers who offer to help in a timely manner All requests are subject to moderation. The Platform reserves the right to reject or remove any request that does not comply with these Terms or community guidelines.
When responding to a help request as a volunteer, you agree to: • Provide help in good faith and to the best of your ability • Not request payment or compensation from the person in need • Treat all parties with respect and dignity • Communicate honestly about your availability and capabilities Volunteering is entirely voluntary. The Platform does not create any employment or contractual relationship between volunteers and those requesting help.
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform: • Requesting or offering monetary transfers or donations • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users • Using the Platform for commercial purposes or advertising • Collecting personal data of other users without their consent • Impersonating other persons or organizations • Uploading malicious content, viruses, or harmful code • Any activity that violates the laws of the Republic of Moldova Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
By posting content on the Platform (text, photos, reviews), you grant Fapte Bune a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute this content for the purposes of operating and promoting the Platform. You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on the rights of third parties. The Platform's name, logo, design, and original content are the intellectual property of Fapte Bune and may not be used without written permission.
Fapte Bune serves as a connection platform between users and does not participate directly in interactions between them. The Platform is not responsible for: • The quality, safety, or outcome of help provided by volunteers • Actions or conduct of users outside the Platform • Any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from interactions between users • The accuracy of information provided by users in their requests or profiles Users interact at their own risk. We strongly recommend exercising caution and common sense when meeting other users in person. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Fapte Bune reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. In case of significant changes, we will notify users through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.
